There's plenty of customized dark version of Google, but why Dark Beta? Read on..
a cathode ray tube (CRT) monitor uses about 74 watts to display an all white web page, but only uses 59 watts to display an all black page.Therefore, it is a wise choice to use a dark version of Google. Dark Beta is javascript oriented, therefore you should enable javascript in you Internet browser. There's some tools available such as Amazon.com Search, Calculator, Calendar, Del.icio.us social bookmarking search, Digg top 40 and Driving Directions (map).
You can watch video updates from sites like iflim, Veoh, YouTube etc. When you get bored, you can even try the free flash games ranging from action to strategy.
There's 2 more features which is the RSS feed reader and bookmarks. This require you to signup for an account in order to use this service. However, account registration is FREE.
